When it comes to Embers Labs debut game, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, there are many difficulty settings to choose from. When selecting one at the start, you will notice a difficulty option called “Master Spirit Guide.” This is the game’s hardest difficulty, but when you first boot up the game, the option is greyed out and not selectable. If you want to challenge yourself in this game, you are going to want to know how to unlock this extra mode. This guide will show you how to unlock Master Spirit Guide in Kena: Bridge of Spirits.
How to Unlock Master Spirit Guide in Kena: Bridge of Spirits
There are three other difficulties at the start of Kena: Bridge of Spirits. They include “Story Mode,” an easy difficulty meant for people who want to experience the narrative and character without much in the way of difficulty. “Spirit Guide” is the equivalent of the game’s “Normal” difficulty, with a balance between challenge and story. “Expert Spirit Guide” turns the challenge up a bit from what to expect in the normal difficulty. “Master Spirit Guide” is a much more complex challenge, with several enemies that will instantly kill Kena and requires a great understanding of the game to get through.
To unlock this difficulty, you will need to beat the game on any other difficulties first. No matter which difficulty you play on, from “Story” to “Expert,” the new mode will unlock upon beating the game. The game runs for about 8-10 hours. Once the difficulty is unlocked, you can start to go through the game again to unlock the trophy that shares a name with the difficulty, “Master Spirit Guide.” This trophy unlocks upon beating the game on the “Master Spirit Guide” difficulty.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
