Studio Ghibli’s film Kiki’s Delivery Service is celebrating its return to North American screens. To celebrate the event and the 33rd anniversary of the film, Bandai Namco Toys is offering exclusive Studio Ghibli merchandise. The film will screen in select theaters in North America on July 31st, August 1st, and August 3rd. This theatrical re-release is meant to celebrate GKIDS and Fathom Events’ Ghibli Fest 2022.
Now, Ghibli Fest 2022 has screened films like Princess Mononoke, Ponyo, and The Cat’s Return. Upcoming films like Yesterday will screen on August 28th and 29th. Howl’s Moving Castle will be on September 25th, 26th, and 28th, followed by Spirited Away on October 30th, November 1st, and November 2nd. As of now, it is unknown if other films will be receiving their own stylized merchandise.
