How Did Kim Kardashian And Mariah Carey Take Over TikTok?
On Monday, February 20, 42-year-old Kardashian and 53-year-old Carey unexpectedly teamed up for a goofy Cameo. The moms did just that in their daughters’ dance challenge clip. In footage posted by the stars, the daughters of the celebrities were dancing to It’s a Wrap for You. Kardashian’s 9-year-old daughter, North, and Carey’s 11-year-old daughter, Monroe, showed their moves in the TikTok video.
North wore an Aaliyah graphic tee with white pants, while Monroe paired a pink sweater with jeans. During the pair’s choreographed movements, both moms appeared offscreen singing into hair brushes; make-believe microphones. North and Monroe pushed their respective parents out of the camera.
How Did TikTokers React To Kardashian And Carey’s Collaboration?
@kimandnorth It’s a wrap! But never for us!
The SKIMS founder’s followers were shocked to see the collaboration. Most of Kardashian’s fans expressed their shock in the comment section. One user wrote that the collaboration was not on her 2023 list of things but is happy about it. Other users called the collaboration a “power move,” “a flex” and “the definition of iconic.” Another user referred to the businesswoman and the We Belong Together singer as “the duo we never knew that we needed.”
The video, which has taken over the internet by storm, was filmed inside Kardashian’s home. North often makes TikTok videos in the home with her mom and siblings. North’s siblings include 7-year-old Saint, 5-year-old Chicago, and 3-year-old Psalm.
Kardashian shares her children with her ex-husband, Kanye West. The All I Want For Christmas Is You singer also shares Monroe and her twin brother, Moroccan, with ex-husband Nick Cannon. Carey married Cannon from 2008 to 2016. The duo married a few years after the socialite and the TV host briefly dated in 2006. Now, the proud moms are connecting, and so are their daughters.
