Developer NeocoreGames announced today that their upcoming turn-based RPG game, King Arthur: Knight’s Tale, will have a delayed release date and is now expected to become available to Steam on April 26th, 2022. This delaying of games is a seemingly running trend in recent times, and this title alone is now coming out almost a month after its initial date of March 29th –Â which was another rescheduled release date as well.
If you don’t know about King Arthur: Knight’s Tale, it is set in a dark fantasy world that is based on the famed Arthurian Myth and follows the trend of the previous installments. This tactical RPG hybrid kicks off straight after the famous battle of Camlann, but it isn’t as plain sailing as you would think.
What to expect in King Arthur: Knight’s Tale?
King Arthur: Knight’s Tale’s delayed release date is mainly for NeocoreGames to improve the voice acting and localization, with some finalized testing as well in the hopes that these four weeks is just enough time to give the users the smoothest and best game playing experience they can get. So, given that the extra time is just for ironing out these minor details, there shouldn’t be any problems, right?
King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is currently available with Steam Early Access, and with that, players will be able to experience the campaign’s first act in its entirety, with the rest of the campaign being added in the final release date in April. There is still a lot more information to share with players in the run-up to that launch date, though, so don’t be too disheartened about the current details of the game. The title is also being released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at a later date as well, so you console gamers won’t be left out of the loop for much longer.
