The latest adventure of everyone’s favorite pink blob with an insatiable appetite, Kirby, is finally here! Just like in other titles, Kirby and the Forgotten Land also features the Copy Ability mechanic, where Kirby can gain new power-ups throughout the game. However, this time around, you can upgrade them by spending Star Coins, Power Stones, and most importantly, finding the Copy Ability Blueprints hidden away all over the Forgotten Land.

Clutter Needle Blueprint
How to obtain the Copy Ability Blueprint: In World 2-3 – Everbay Coast, “Scale The Cement Summit.” At the beginning of the level, when you ascend the yellow ladders, you’ll eventually find a destructible floor. Interact with a bomb block to blow it up and uncover the Blueprint.
Chain Bomb Blueprint
How to obtain the Copy Ability Blueprint: In World 2-4 – Everbay Coast, “Fast-Flowing Waterworks.” Simply beat the battle arena segment.
Noble Ranger Blueprint
How to obtain the Copy Ability Blueprint: In World 2-5 – Everbay Coast, “The Tropical Terror.” Beat the Tropic Woods boss.
Toy Hammer Blueprint
How to obtain this Kirby and the Forgotten Land Copy Ability Blueprint: In World 3-1 – Wondaria Remains, “Welcome to Wondaria.” Clean muds, water wilted flowers, and find the secret area:
- Turn into Water-Balloon Mouth Mode by filling Kirby up with water from the pipe.
- Clear muds near a platform with water to raise up a set of steps.
- Jump and get to a higher platform. You’ll find four flower pots.
- Spray water at the pots.
- Discard the Mouthful Mode and climb the stepladder.
- You should find a pipe and three flower pots. Turn into the Water-Balloon Mode again and spray them.
- Clean up another patch of mud in the top right corner of the area.
- You’ll find a secret area. Drop down and there should be a flower pot. Water it.
Gigant Sword Blueprint
How to obtain the Copy Ability Blueprint: In World 3-2 – Wondaria Remains, “Circuit Speedway.” Beat the Wild Edge miniboss.
Time Crash Blueprint
How to obtain the Copy Ability Blueprint: In World 3-3 – Wondaria Remains, “Invasion At The House Of Horrors.” When you’re about the leave the level, hover down to a circular tunnel on the left. It’s an entrance to a secret area containing the Blueprint.
Fleur Tornado Blueprint
How to obtain the Copy Ability Blueprint: In World 3-4 – Wondaria Remains, “The Wondaria Dream Parade.” When you’re using the Water-Balloon Mouth Mode to push the fairground/parade floats into metal boxes, near the end of the segment you’ll have to blast a metal shutter and rescues a Waddle Dee. Behind the Waddle Dee, there is a breakable wall. Spray a passing float to destroy the wall and uncover the Blueprint.
Pencil Drill Blueprint
How to obtain the Copy Ability Blueprint: In World 3-5 – Wondaria Remains, “Danger Under The Big Top.” Beat the Clawroline boss.
Dragon Fire Blueprint
How to obtain the Copy Ability Blueprint: In World 4-3 – Winter Horns, “Windy, Freezing Seas.” On the level, you’ll come across a lift that can be used to turn into the Scissor-Lift Mouth Mode. Ride it all the way to the right of the screen, hop out, then get on top of the platform to find the Blueprint.
Frosty Ice Blueprint
How to obtain the Copy Ability Blueprint: In World 4-4 – Winter Horns, “The Battle of Blizzard Bridge.” Beat the Twin Frosty fight and grab it from the chest.
Homing Bomb Blueprint
How to obtain the Copy Ability Blueprint: In World 4-5 – Winter Horns, “An Unexpected Beast King.” Beat the King Dedede boss.
Crystal Needle Blueprint
How to obtain the Copy Ability Blueprint: In World 5-1 – Originull Wasteland, “The Wastes Where Life Began.” Beat the Fleurina miniboss, then head to the left to find a chest containing the Blueprint.
Buzz-Saw Cutter Blueprint
How to obtain the Copy Ability Blueprint: In World 5-2 – Originull Wasteland, “Searching The Oasis.” When you come across an area full of poison and plant enemies, look for a slightly hidden platform with a chest on it on the top of your screen.
Twin Drill Blueprint
How to obtain the Copy Ability Blueprint: In World 5-4 – Originull Wasteland, “Moonlight Canyon.” At the beginning of the level. Before you get through the main doors, look for a barrel on the top left of the cliff platform. Smash the barrel for the Blueprint but be careful of the collapsing blocks around it.
Blizzard Ice Blueprint
How to obtain the Copy Ability Blueprint: In World 5-5 – Originull Wasteland, “Collector in The Secret Valley.” Beat the Sillydillo boss.

Deep Sleep Blueprint
How to obtain the Copy Ability Blueprint: In World 6-3 – Redgar Forbidden Lands, “Burning, Churning Power Plant.” Near the end of the level. Float to the left from the door outside the room with the cannon, and you should find a path in the metal press. Follow it.
Storm Tornado Blueprint
How to obtain the Copy Ability Blueprint: In World 6-4 – Redgar Forbidden Lands, “Gathering Of The Beast Council.” Near the end of the level where you get into a rollercoaster. Before you do, though, look under the rollercoaster boarding platform and to the right. There should be a small corner with the Blueprint in it.
Masked Hammer Blueprint
How to obtain the Copy Ability Blueprint: Beat Kirby and the Forgotten Land story mode and talk to King Dedede near the Colosseum in the Waddle Dee Town hub to get the Blueprint.
Meta Knight Sword Blueprint
How to obtain the Copy Ability Blueprint: Beat Meta Knight in the Colosseum or clear it for the first time.
