It seems as though Ed Boon has dangled Kombat Pack 2 over the heads of die-hard fans for months. After the star-studded cast brought into Mortal Kombat 11 in Kombat Kombat Pack 1, it seemed that NetherRealm Studios had their work cut out for them. Though Kombat Pack 2 doesn’t compare in roster size, it does bring the power of action heroes and old fan favorites. Take a look at the newest trailer for Kombat Pack 2!
John Rambo makes his first appearance in the Mortal Kombat franchise. He is joined by Outworld Tarkatan Princess Mileena and Prince of Edenia, Rain! Ed boon and NetherRealm Studios have once again delivered with another Kombat Pack expansion!
While I personally put Mortal Kombat 11 down shortly after it’s release in 2019, I am extremely excited about this! First, we get The Terminator in Kombat Pack 1, and now we’re getting John Rambo?! And he’s being voiced by the legendary Sylvester Stallone?! The Rambo series is one of the most iconic pieces of action cinematography dating back to its debut in 1982. John Rambo will easily mesh with the Mortal Kombat culture.
Mileena is finally back! I know her cult following couldn’t be more excited for her return! Since her unfortunate end in the Mortal Kombat X story-mode, fans have been begging for her rightful spot in the Mortal Kombat 11 roster.
Last but certainly not least, Rain! This character hasn’t been playable since the Mortal Kombat reboot in 2011. Though he made a brief appearance in the story of Mortal Kombat X, he’s deserved a spot in this roster as a fighter! Welcome back!
