Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian are annoyed at The Kardashians showrunners. The power couple is not pleased with how they feel they’ve been portrayed on the show. These two love the show itself and enjoy filming it, but they say the producers hype up the drama. The show is so used to her old drama with Scott Disick that they want more of that. But the new couple claims they have no drama, so the Hulu show fabricates it.
Kourtney told US Weekly:
“They’re, like, swirling us in with this drama. Especially when I saw my engagement episode, editors or whoever is, like, taking it as like, ‘Let’s take Kourtney, she’s the chosen one to be the drama while shooting our show”. She continued, “We are all executive producers, so we get to see cuts of the show, and give notes on episodes and make sure that our stories are being told. I am in one of the best places I’ve ever been in my life. And it’s time for our show to catch up.”
A Time For Growth
Her frustration is understandable. Reality TV has a real tendency to play up the crazier stuff and downplay normality. For her to feel like she has grown, but the show doesn’t represent that can be bothersome.
Kourtney is convinced the editors of The Kardashians are just pushing an old narrative. Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian are annoyed, but they seem to be dealing with it professionally. No one is blowing up or making a scene, or one is spreading hate. They are just using their fame to express something they disagree with. That in itself proves they are mature and are good for each other.
But one thing about The Kardashians, being kind to one another does not make good TV. A model her family essentially invented.
