Despite their negative reputation as of late, being a police officer is still a dangerous job, especially when the person you’re arresting is technically bigger and stronger than you. That’s why a bystander and smoker from Los Angeles, California, deemed it necessary to play as a cheerleader to two female cops whom he saw were struggling to arrest a male suspect. What happened after is probably the most energetic arrest commentary you could ever witness:
The video was uploaded by Instagram user gcity.enttt and was captured by the smoker himself. Apparently, he witnessed two female LAPD cops trying to detain a suspect in a gas station, except they were struggling, and one of them even dropped her bodycam. Hence, the smoker walked close by to help, supposedly, and to also film the incident that might even be used in court.
Apart from filming the incident and picking up the dropped bodycam, the LA smoker also kept rebuking the suspect and occasionally cheering on the female cops who were trying to handcuff the suspect. Eventually, it became clear that the two cops needed backup or perhaps even a taser to subdue the man, hence why the LA smoker called for help, “Hurry Up, Send Backup, Help These B**ches Out”
You can also hear the LA smoker saying, “That’s what the dope do,” leading many comments to assume that the suspect could be either selling narcotics around the area or using it and got busted by the two LAPD cops. It appears some people were disappointed at how the LA man “helped” and that perhaps he could’ve helped more. However, a civilian invasively interfering with an ongoing police arrest could easily get in trouble with the law or accidentally obstruct the arrest, so not many want to risk it.
Most Entertaining Cop Commentary Ever?
Most people who have seen the video have praised the LA smoker for his rather hands-on and energetic play-by-play of the arrest. Some have also pointed out how he even called the two female LAPD cops the b-word, and basically got away with it, likely because the cops were too busy with their ongoing arrest.

Sadly, not all arrests are as detailed as this one, and some viewers swear it could easily be a scene in one of the GTA games due to how absurd and almost comical it is. The discussion has thus highlighted that perhaps the LAPD cops in the video could’ve used proven methods to subdue the suspect, such as jiu-jitsu or a baton.
