Lady Gaga has accomplished practically everything possible in entertainment throughout her career. Now, Lady Gaga just scored her 36th Grammy Nomination. The nominations were announced today, and Gaga scored two, despite not having a Grammy-eligible album for this year. One nomination for Hold My Hand from the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack and one for the soundtrack itself, which she is a co-writer for. As many fans know, Hold My Hand was the lead single from the hit film.
Lady Gaga’s Hold My Hand hit the airwaves back in May. Since then, the song has become a hit and solidified as a favorite from many listeners who don’t often listen to Lady Gaga. The singer also released a music video for the single from the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack.
Hold My Hand is nominated for Best Song Written For Visual Media, while the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack is nominated for Best Compilation Soundtrack.Â
The 65th annual Grammy Awards will air on February 5th on CBS live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Congrats to Lady Gaga on 36 career-long Grammy award nominations and two for the year! Hopefully, we’ll see her sing Hold My Hand at the ceremony.
Besides Lady Gaga’s 36th Grammy Nomination
Lady Gaga may have scored her 36th Grammy nomination, but she was not the most nominated artist this year. Beyoncé achieved more nominations this year than any other artist, with 9. This includes Record Of The Year for Break My Soul and Album Of The Year for Renaissance. In second place is Kendrick Lemar. The rapper scored eight nominations, with one for Album Of The Year. Kendrick released his latest album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, in May of this year.
Also in the Album Of The Year category at the Grammys are Mary J Blidge for Good Morning Gorgeous, Harry Styles for Harry’s House, Adele for 30, Lizzo for Special, and entries from Coldplay, ABBA, Bad Bunny, and Brandi Carlile.
