Lisa Vanderpump reacts to the public aggression against Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss and calls it hypocritical. Tom and Raquel’s affair is still attracting outrage after a week. Meanwhile, the two characters involved issued an apology some days ago.
However, Lisa Vanderpump on Watch What Happens Live thinks the public needs to give them a little bit of grace. During Wednesday’s episode, Andy Cohen asked Lisa about all the backlash the pair received after news of their affair broke.
“Actually, I really want to talk about this because this kind of vigilante justice I don’t agree with at all,” Lisa started.
Lisa opined that her co-stars expose their lives to all, which can be hard for them.
“There’s so much infidelity in the world. It’s not like they murdered anyone,” she concluded.
Despite their wrongdoings, Lisa said that fans should consider that Raquel and Tom are “hurting” too.
“I’m not saying we should let them off the hook. Condemn their actions, but don’t condemn the people. All this aggression … it can have serious ramifications. I really mean that. I think everybody should be careful with that. I don’t like it and I don’t want to see it.”
Lisa Vanderpump Reacts To Scheana Shay Allegedly Hitting Raquel Leviss
Lisa’s allusion to aggression may be that of co-star Scheana Shay, who allegedly hit Raquel after learning of the affair.
Lisa admitted that she believes Scheana “slapped” the former beauty pageant queen after they got into a “heated confrontation” about the affair.
“I think she slapped her around the chops,” Lisa told Andy.
However, the former Housewife told Andy that she understood that Scheana was probably very emotional at that moment. She shared that Ariana and Scheana have been friends for about 12 years.
She also reminded viewers that the two were friends for a long time before the show even started. “They grew up together. She very much kind of has Ariana’s back,” Lisa alleged.
The incident allegedly happened on March 1 during his concert in Los Angeles. Ariana found a sexually explicit video of Raquel on Tom’s phone while at the concert.
She then called Raquel, who was on a press tour with Scheana in NYC at the time, for an explanation. Raquel admitted to the affair, leading to an explosive exchange between Scheana and Raquel. This allegedly resulted in Raquel leaving with a black eye.
On Tuesday, Raquel filed for a temporary restraining order against her ex-friend. She claimed that Scheana punched her in the face during the argument.
It might take a while for the anger against Tom and Raquel’s affair to die down. Hopefully, the duo will reflect on their actions while they wait for the anger against them to be quenched.
