Lisa Vanderpump’s Pump restaurant is closing down. The eatery is in West Hollywood, and unfortunately, it just couldn’t survive. There was a massive hike in the rent of the place too, which is why she says she and her hubby walked away. To their credit, they kept the place open for a decade, which is impressive. The place catered to upscale clients, and they called their menu New American Dining. Whatever that means. We think it means she charged $50 for soup.
That is how you know the cost of living has gotten insane. Even rich folks are like naw, we good. No one can afford life anymore. That’s a pretty scary thing to try to wrap your head around.
Lisa Vanderpump Pump Restaurant Is Closing Down
Via TMZ:
This should honestly be a lesson to famous folks who want to open restaurants for themselves. Most of them have no idea it is a 24-hour commitment and takes a great deal to stay open. It is pretty common for stars to open places and for them to fail over time. Apparently, no one warned them that it is super expensive, too. As soon as their rent got raised, they were like PEACE. Dear other celebrities that want to do this. Please don’t.
Follow her lead and realize it is not in the cards.
