How The God of Mischief May Have Survived in Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War left most Marvel fans in Tears. Emotional and tormented, fans came up with their own stories and theories as to how the deaths of our favorite heroes might be reversed. In particular, the end of Loki the God of Mischief.

The very beginning of the film shook audiences to their souls in Lokis death. One fan has taken it upon themselves to do extensive research and has claimed they have found evidence that Loki is still alive. Reddit fan theories states that Lokis death was yet another illusion by the God of Mischief.

Anonymous Fan u/radkarth writes in his argument:

“Loki is right-handed. If you look, in movies since Thor 1 to Avengers 1 to Ragnarok, he wields with his right hand,” the theory states. “He holds weapons with his right and the scepter in Avengers with his right. There are two occasions he uses his left hand (that I’ve found). One, when he fakes his death in Dark World. You can find him holding the dagger with his left hand during the entire scene. Two, when he stabs Thanos.”

The theory goes on to suggest that left-handed stab wasn’t Loki, but an illusion.

“So, Loki’s illusion uses his left hand because he’s a mirrored version? The Loki that was killed at the beginning of Infinity War was an illusion, and he’s still out there, maybe disguised or just in hiding.”

Indeed an excellent philosophy compared to other fan stories. Most of us are hoping this might be true as we all come up with ideas for our beloved heroes. All of those who faded into the background at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. What could happen if this is true, will Marvel admit to leaving a deeply hidden clue, or claim it to be a sham.

In 2016 rumors were that Tom Hiddleston might have been finished with his mischievous role and been looking forward to new projects in his career. It will be very captivating to find out who is right in their fan opinions and watching the characters grow even more than they already have.
