Loot Crate shares several of their boxes with us and the Loot Crate DX is one of the boxes (or crates) we receive. In October, they had a horror theme to coincide with Halloween. Here is a little about the DX box and then we’ll take a look to see what came in the box.
Loot Crate DX is similar to the Loot Crate box but filled with a higher-caliber assortment of collectibles, apparel, home goods, and more. A $100+ value in every crate!
Cost: $44.99 a month plus Shipping and Handling
Coupon/Savings: Use the code: NERDSTASH and save $3.00
Ghostface from Scream was the image we found on a really nice black sweatshirt in this month’s DX crate. This would be an amazing score for any fan of the movie or character.
This The Walking Dead mug is a very large, very cool mug! The inside is really cool as it has a “walker” inside it. You can now drink you favorite hot beverage with a swimming walker inside! How cool is that?
This exclusive statuette of Bottin’s Monster from The Thing was made by Chronicle Collectibles. It’s actually a pretty detailed, nice statuette if you like this kind of thing (no pun intended).
I have seen several different power banks in a variety of shapes and sizes but this is the first chainsaw. It’s an Ash Evil Dead Chainsaw Power Bank! They definitely got creative here.
Continuing the Evil Dead theme, they also included an Evil Dead 2 Variant Art Print. This print is approximately 8 x 10 (just guessing) and looks very similar to a movie poster.
This magazine includes an article about Loot Crate and was included in this month’s DX crate.
This Hellraiser themed pin was the pin of the month for the DX box.
Summary: This crate was a nice collection of items that celebrate the horror theme. Loot Crate always delivers a large box of nice items that are valued at way more than the monthly fee you pay. If you want a nice box of goodies delivered to your door each month, Loot Crate DX is a great choice.
