Fighting raid and field bosses in Lost Ark provides you with the opportunity to gain valuable rewards. You are also required to kill some to complete your Adventurer’s Tome for each region. Signatus is one of the two bosses you must defeat to complete the Arthetine Adventurer’s Tome. This guide will teach you where to find and defeat Signatus in Lost Ark.
Lost Ark Signatus Guide – Location and Strategies
Signatus is a mechanical robot that spawns in the Scraplands region of Arthetine. In Lost Ark, you will find Signatus in the small, rectangular area southeast of the Soldier Ant Nest dungeon. The easiest way to access this area is by sailing or using an ocean liner to reach Arthetine, then using the Soldier Ant Nest Triport and walking southeast. The image above shows Signatus’s spawn location.
Each field boss in Lost Ark spawns at pre-determined times and dates on each server. Every field boss raid starts simultaneously before cycling every 2-3 days. The image below shows an example of the alarm schedule for the Signatus field boss.
Lastly, you must have the required item level to participate in the raid. For Signatus, your item level must be at least 380. If your item level is below this, any contributions you make will not count towards the raid, and you will not receive any rewards. You can check your item level by going to your Character Profile.
Once you have met the item level requirement, head to the Scraplands. A white symbol will appear on the map with a timer telling you when Signatus will spawn. Since Signatus has several million health points, you’ll want to make sure other players are around to help defeat it. If you do not see other players around, you can try to join a busier channel through the drop-down menu on the top-right corner of your screen.
How you contribute to defeating Signatus will also depend on your class. If you are a ranged DPS class, you’ll want to stay in the backline while tankier classes take the brunt of the damage. Likewise, if you are a tank or melee DPS class, you’ll have to be more careful with dodging or absorbing the attacks. Signatus has numerous area-of-effect attacks that can deal heavy damage if you do not avoid them. However, many of the attacks are directed in front of Signatus. If you mainly stay behind the boss, you will have a much easier time dodging the attacks.
