Lost Ark Creation Fragment

You will occasionally pick up individual cards and card packs to open as you play Lost Ark. You will also encounter Creation Fragments that differ slightly from a regular card. Upon using it, you’ll get a prompt asking if you want to add it to your collection. While you can search for it in your Card Catalog, you won’t find any immediate results. This guide will teach you everything you need to know about creation fragment cards in Lost Ark.

Creation Fragment Cards Explained in Lost Ark

Lost Ark Card Awaken

Unlike regular cards that get added to your catalog and give you bonuses, Creation Fragments are used to enhance your cards. Each Creation Fragment you obtain will give you 3,000 XP to use on your cards. You can use XP to awaken your cards to enhance your set bonuses. The following list includes some examples of where to find Creation Fragments in Lost Ark:

  1. Treasure map rewards
  2. Rapport rewards
  3. Dropped in Chaos Dungeons and all difficulties of the Cube
  4. Guaranteed drop on floors 46-49 of Shadespire and Fatespire Towers

Lost Ark Card Set Bonus

To awaken your cards, head to your card catalog (Alt+C) and select the Enhance tab. Once you reach the maximum required XP on any card, the card will have either an “Increased” or “Awaken” tag. “Increased” means you have maximum XP on the card but do not have another identical card to upgrade it. Once you have a duplicate card, you will find the “Awaken” tag, telling you to upgrade the card. Once you awaken the card, an orange gem will appear.

Having a certain amount of awakening gems on your cards will unlock additional set bonuses. For example, most 6-card sets will have bonuses for 18-piece Awakening and 30-piece Awakening. This means that if you have 18 and 30 total awaken gems between the six cards in your chosen set, you will unlock the stated bonuses. To view the exact bonus buffs you’ll receive, head to your card catalog and hover over “Set Effect Details” beside each card set on the Equip screen.

Lost Ark is available exclusively on PC. For more information regarding the game and future updates, check out the official website.
