Love Is Blind Marshall Glaze Discusses Jackie And Josh’s Absence From Reunion
In an interview with ET, the reality star Jackie dumped for Josh admitted he knew not to expect them, as he discovered their plans not to attend 24 hours before filming. Admittedly, the discovery left Marshal with mixed emotions knowing he had prepared himself for the big meetup beforehand. He explained:
“That’s a lot of mental energy that I expense. I was not happy at first, but I just had to roll with the punches.”
Despite his initial disappointment, Marshall Glaze understood why Jackie Bonds and Josh Damas could not attend the Love Is Blind reunion. Sharing his take on their absence, the TV personality noted that some people found certain circumstances too heavy to deal with. Hence, he was willing to “give them grace” and possibly cut the couple some slacks.
What Jackie Said About Missing the Reunion
Hours before Marshall’s interview, Jackie explained her and Josh’s reasons for missing out on the reunion special in a pre-taped Zoom interview. She attributed her absence to the numerous death threats she has received since her season aired.
Jackie Bonds also leveled allegations against her ex, Marshall Glaze, including claims that he demanded that she return his engagement ring so that he could propose to another co-star. Marshall has since denied the claim, describing it as absurd. However, he admitted to interviewers that he was seeing someone new after Jackie “slighted” him on the show.
As for what the future holds, Marshall admitted he was ready to move on from Jackie and move forward with his life. According to Marshall, the responsibility of controlling himself and the world’s perception of him rested solely with him. He remained positive his new ideals would make him a better person.
