The brand new Mad Max gameplay trailer showcases driving, combat, car/person customisation screens. It’s refreshing to see a trailer where we actually see the game and what it will be like to play.
It’s not only packed with features but looks visually appealing too, down to fine details like dust billowing behind vehicles as they race across the harsh wasteland, giant explosions flaring into a relentlessly scorching sky above. And a combat system that reminds me of Batman Arkham series which was also used for Shadow of Mordor. The combat system is tried and tested so we know from experience we’ll have a good time brawling it out with the thugs of the wasteland.
The story is original, and there are factions to please and strengthen, all to your advantage. Ultimately you’ll be put in front of the rulers of the wasteland and, presumably, have them answer for their sins.
Avalanche’s Mad Max is due out 4th September on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
