The Kansas City Chiefs are going to win Super Bowl LIV. That’s according to the people running the Madden NFL 20 prediction simulation.
What has become an annual event right predicts a barn burner of a game this time around. The simulation says the Chiefs are just barely going to top the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, 35-31.
As EA Sports pointed out in a press release accompanying the prediction, there have been times when the digital version of the Super Bowl is eerily similar to the real game.
At times, the game has gone so far as to predict who will be the MVP, what their stats will be in order to win that award and who will even score the winning touchdown.
According to this year’s predictions, the Kansas City Chiefs are going to be led to victory thanks to a late touchdown drive led by the game’s eventual MVP Patrick Mahomes. The capper on the game is an 18-yard touchdown pass to Sammy Watkins to rally for the win.

In the process, Madden NFL 20 believes Mahomes will break the all-time record for passing touchdowns in a postseason. His counterpart, Jimmy Garoppolo is no slouch either.
According to the prediction, he’ll throw for 254 yards and two touchdowns. That performance will simply pale in comparison to the game the Kansas City Chiefs’ signal-caller logs. Mahomes threw for 392 yards and four touchdowns compared to just one interception in the simulation.
It should surprise no one that Travis Kelce is Mahome’s favorite target in the digital version of Super Bowl LIV. The Chiefs’ tight end finished the game with 10 catches for 102 yards and a touchdown.
For those who want to play the big game on their home console but haven’t bought Madden NFL 20 just yet, you can get your hands it through the EA Access Vault. The title was added to that library earlier this week.
