Road to Redemption star Mama June and her husband, Justin Stroud, have taken a different approach to reaffirm their love. The couple exchanged their vows for the second time after they first did on March 23, 2022.
Mama June Remarries Justin Stroud In A Mini Wedding
The 43-year-old walked down the aisle with her heartthrob on Saturday. Mama June and Justin Stroud had a small and intimate oceanfront wedding ceremony which was graced by her daughters (Alana Honey Boo Boo Thompson, Lauryn Pumpkin Efird, Jessica Chubbs Shanon, and Anna Chickadee Cardwell). Her grandchildren were also in attendance.
The wedding party also brought the whole family together. According to Mama June, this is the first time the whole family has been together since 2014. “It was very special to get married in a place where my family and I had so many memories,” the happy bride said.
Per People, Mama June shared that there is no greater feeling of love than having her children walk her down to Justin on the aisle. No doubt it was a great day for the reality TV star. The event was no doubt a colorful one, but the couple’s cake added more pop to it. The cake was baked by Cakes by Rica, and it has six flavors.
A Peek At Mama June’s Past Relationship
The WE tv star revealed that marriage scares the hell out of her, but not until she met her better half, Justin Stroud. This is because she has had a dating past that was surrounded by controversy.
However, her husband came along and change that narrative. “I was really scared of marriage, but Justin made me not be scared of it anymore because he married me.” Mama June said while showing off her blinking love band.
Sometime in 2014, Mama J was involved with a convicted sex offender, Mark McDaniel, which caused the cancellation of her TLC series.
Also, in 2019 while dating her then-boyfriend, Geno Doak, the reality star was arrested on charges that she possessed some hard drug content. Doak was also arrested and charged with domestic violence and possession of hard drugs.
