The 2018 Game Awards came out swinging! But not just any type of swinging, they came out web swinging, Hammer throwing and Hulk Smashing with its World Premiere of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order! The last Ultimate Alliance Game, Ultimate Alliance 2, came out back in September of 2009.
Now fans of the past Ultimate Alliance games get to play the next one 9 years later! However, there is something about this one that’s different than the last two. It will not be multiplatform. According to the official announcement at the Game Awards, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will only be available for the Nintendo Switch.
The game is set to be exclusively released for the Nintendo Switch in 2019. You’ll be able to play a large roster of heroes and villains just like the past Ultimate Alliance games. Some heroes include the Guardians of The Galaxy and the Avengers. On the villain side of things, it looks like you can play the Goddess of Death, Angela and even Thanos is in the mix because they’re all fighting for the power of the Infinity Gauntlet.
As always, we’ll keep you updated on anything new on the game.
