New Game Plus traditionally gives the player the opportunity to restart the game. However, all upgrades and perks obtained previously stay available. While this does not add much in terms of content, players are encouraged to up the difficulty the second time around. Having Suits and Abilities already unlocked should help alleviate some of the early game frustrations. Providing players with more web-swinging action, hopefully extending the games longevity by a significant amount.
Square Enix recently announced Shadow of The Tomb Raider would include a New Game Plus mode. Details of the addition appeared on the Official Tomb Raider Twitter page. Stating players will be able to keep weapons, skills, outfits, upgrades, and gear going through NG+. Read more about Shadow of The Tomb Raider and it’s New Game Plus mode here.
Marvel’s Spider-Man has also been in the headlines recently for a more heart-breaking reason. Massive Spider-Man fan Tyler Shultz reached out to Insomniac, requesting a hidden proposal in-game. Shultz’s proposal was not well received by his ex girlfriend. Read more about this unusual Easter egg here.
