Variant Covers Celebrate The Avengers
In honor of the Avenger’s 60th anniversary this year, eight covers this year will allow Marvel’s Stormbreakers to put their spin on iconic Avengers moments. These eight covers, each from a different artist, harken back to different eras of Avengers from the past 60 years. This includes moments like when Spider-Man joined the team and the debut of Cap’s Kooky Quartet.
The variant covers will begin with the June 7th release of Groot #2 and X-Men: Before the Fall – Mutants First Strike #1. These feature variants from Stormbreakers Martin Coccolo and Lucas Werneck, respectively. Then on June 14th, Chris Allen brings a variant cover to Black Panther #1. The next week brings an Incredible Hulk #1variant from Jan Bazaldua and a Venom #21 variant from Nic Klein. Finally, on June 28th, the final three variants arrive on Amazing Spider-Man #28 (Elena Casagrande), Storm #2 (Federico Vicentini), and X-Men: Before the Fall – Heralds of Apocalypse #1.
