Marvel’s Voices: Pride #1
This year’s anthology will continue the tradition of bringing a diverse collection of LGBTQIA+ stories to readers. Marvel’s Voices: Pride #1 puts the spotlight on characters from all different parts of the Marvel Universe with different identities and stories to tell. While established heroes like Black Cat, Hulkling, and Wiccan are sure to show up in the one-shot, this year’s comic is upping the ante. A bunch of exciting character debuts and upcoming title lead-ins are peppered throughout the stories featured in the anthology.
Meanwhile, Marvel’s Voices: Pride #1 features more information on the upcoming X-Men title from Steve Foxe and Rosi Kampe. The series is set to debut later this year and stars Gimmick from the Children of Atom series. The one-shot also features a new hero taking up the title of “Nightshade” to protect Chicago in a tale from Stephanie Williams. Sarah Gailey makes her Marvel debut in a Black Cat story. Meanwhile Shadi Petosky also makes their Marvel debut with a Wiccan and Hulkling tale. Plus, a new symbiote from H.E. Edgmon debuts and much more.
Celebrating Pride
Beyond the annual one-shot, Marvel is celebrating Pride with the return of Pride Variant covers. These covers will feature Marvel heroes as well as some of your favorite Star Wars characters.
Plus, Pride month wouldn’t be complete without Loki. This June the new Loki limited series debuts. This is part of Marvel’s ongoing publications that spotlight LGBTQIA+ heroes. Current titles like Betsy Braddock: Captain Britain, New Muthans: Lethal Legion, Star Wars: Doctor Aphra, and Star Wars: Sana Starros are a few of those titles.
This year’s Marvel Pride celebration is going to be one you won’t want to miss!
