Nintendo is throwing a well-known blue heroic robot into the world of Dragalia Lost. For a few weeks, players can pursue a Mega Man-inspired storyline titled Chaos Protocol. And if they play their cards right, they can get a prize at the end.
The Mega Man: Chaos Protocol event will run until December 15th, 2019 at 9:59 PM pacific time. The storyline is centered on Dr. Wily invading the world of Dragalia Lost and taking control of the five Greatwyrms. Mega Man is pursuing Dr. Wily to free these Greatwyrms and will enlist the player’s help. To access this event, players must have completed up to Chapter 2/2-1 (Normal) of the main campaign.
It’s easy for players to access the event. Mega Man will automatically join players in battle and come along with abilities, attacks, and animations faithful to the original games. He’ll also come with his signature movies, including Charge Shot, Shapeshift, Metal Blades, and Leaf Sheild. These will give him the ability to dodge enemies, use multi-directional attacks, and be able to both attack and defend with ease. After Dr. Wily is defeated, players can also take on the Mega Man Trial for a higher level of challenge.
During the event, players can gain friendship levels with the Blue Bomber. If they are able to maximize this friendship, he will stick around even after the event is over. Along with that exciting reward, there are more exclusives to the event. There will be five new wyrmprints that feature limited-time artwork, as well as four new stamps. There is also a new facility created after the character, and the Mega Buster weapon. Players can also access log-in bonuses that include Energy Tanks, wyrmite, and Tenfold Summon Vouchers. The highlight of all this, of course, is the chance to permanently add Mega Man to the Dragalia Lost team.
