Meghan Trainor’s son, Riley, made his first appearance on Australian Idol, and his performance warmed his mom’s heart, earning him a Golden Ticket, but his reaction was priceless! The “All about the Bass” singer has been all about her son since becoming a mother. Meghan Trainor’s son, Riley, was born on February 8, 2021.
Trainor was once honest about her fear of childbirth following her gestational diabetes, but she felt proud after having her first child with her husband, Daryl Sabara. Coming to the close of the year, the singer admitted that welcoming her son had activated her superhero nature. Jokingly she quipped:
“After making a human — there’s nothing I can’t do! After I went through a surgery — they took my guts out; I was awake. Try to stop me. I’m gonna achieve all my goals.”
Being the cutest little soul and inspiration are not the only things he is known for. Meghan Trainor’s son, Riley, is not an alum of the “Australian Idol,” at age 2. But how was his performance?!

Meghan Trainor’s Son Makes Cameo Appearance
To begin the new week, Trainor pulled on her judging chops for the “Australian Idol,” and she had a visit from her son onstage which she shared online. Meghan Trainor’s son’s cameo was facilitated by his dad, who carried the toddler onto the stage and spoke behind him, telling the judges he wanted to perform the ABC song.
In the video, Harry Connick Jr.— one of the judges, already smitten by his cuteness, ran up the stage to play the piano. But he punched out the “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” tune. Though Trainor and Sabara sang to the song, their son looked around a bit unsure about what was going on. Still, it did not stop Mama Bear from giving him an easy Yes.
Meghan Trainor’s son got the Golden Ticket, and his reaction was classic! The soon-to-be 2-year-old observed the ticket before throwing it away. To which his mom said: “He’s too good for this show,” Trainor quipped. “It’s a no from him!”
But Meghan Trainor’s son did not leave without making an epic exit. While his mom waved him goodbye, he placed a hand on his lips, ready to blow a kiss. At the end of the day, the Grammy Award-winner believed it was the “easiest yes” of “all season.” Over one thousand online devotees agreed with her, calling Riley adorable and his dad’s doppelganger.
