It seems that there are many release dates getting announced today, and we’re happy about that. Aliens: Dark Descent just got an official release, and we also got to see some of its gameplay. This time, instead of an FPS, we’re getting a tactical game. Well, for those fans of the genre, there is yet another title that is on its way. Miasma Chronicles is the one we’re talking about, and today it got its official release date. This game comes from the developers that created Mutant Year Zero so you can expect some familiar lore with the tactical combat we all love.
Miasma Chronicles announces its release date for May 23
May 23 is the day when we’ll get the chance to play this title. Of all the tactical games out there, this is the one that has combat quite similar to XCOM which isn’t a surprise given how Mutant Year Zero played. This game will put you in the shoes of Elvis alongside his robot companion Diggs. Of the gameplay we’ve seen, the combat looks as smooth as always and the style of the game is fantastic. Now, with the release date of Miasma Chronicles upon us, we can’t wait to play it.

You can wishlist the game right now before its official launch day. If you’re looking for some tactical action, we can’t recommend the game enough. While there are many tactical games out there like Fire Emblem and Marvel’s Midnight Suns, it is always nice to get another one. If you’re a fan of XCOM’s combat, you really need to give this game a try. The great thing about it is that this upcoming title will launch on next-gen and PC only. This means that the game won’t hold back in terms of graphics or gameplay. So, be sure to mark your calendar and stay tuned for pre-orders.
