A Peak Into Michelle Yeoh’s Career
Before she became a star to a new generation of the A24 hardcore fans, Michelle Yeoh had previously been in so many films and productions over her 40-year-long (and counting) career. The Malaysian actress has appeared in notable titles such as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon(2000), Tomorrow Never Dies(1997), Crazy Rich Asians(2018,) and much more. Michelle Yeoh has an IMDb list containing 69 credits in just acting gigs alone, with 11 of those gigs either completed, filming, or in post or pre-production.
The completed project, The School for Good and Evil, is still to be released this year. Two projects are in post-production; the highly anticipated Avatar: The Way of Water and a TV mini-series, The Witcher: Blood Origin. Beyond that, Michelle Yeoh is currently filming a TV series, The Brothers Sun, and filming The Tiger’s Apprentice, Avatar 4, and Avatar 5.
Michelle is EVERYTHING in This Film
Released in March 2022, Michelle Yeoh starred in the epic A24 sci-fi adventure comedy-drama Everything Everywhere All at Once. Without spoiling too much, Michelle Yeoh’s character is an “exhausted Chinese American woman who can’t seem to finish her taxes.” As you can imagine, the film is so much more than that. Her performance in Everything Everywhere All at Once brought her tons of star-studded reviews. In addition to her accolades, Yeoh also was given an honorary degree on August 13th from the American Film Institute. This is just the beginning for Michelle Yeoh in the upcoming awards season.
