Monkeypaw Productions is creating its horror audio series exclusively for Spotify called Quiet Part Loud. Monkeypaw and Gimlet Media, under Spotify, are producing the horror audio series. Jordan Peele created Monkeypaw Productions and has written, directed, and produced multiple movies for the company since its creation. Quiet Part Loud will be made up of 12 short-form episodes that will be available all at once. Tracy Letts, Arian Moayed, Christina Hendricks, and Taran Killam will star in it. The Monkeypaw Productions audio series follows Rick Egan (voiced by Letts), a fear-mongering, right-wing radio host. He loses his platform by spreading xenophobic rumors surrounding missing Muslim teenagers. It takes before the Trump presidency and after 9/11. Eight years later, a mysterious woman tells Egan that one of the teenagers has reappeared. The washed-up radio host searches for his own truths and makes a bargain with a demon called “The Blank” (Killam).
