On September 24, Capcom has released the fourth Capcom Collab Event Quest for Monster Hunter Rise. Completing this Mega Man-themed Monster Hunter quest will let you turn your Palamute into Rush, the blue bomber’s loyal robot dog companion. But that’s not all, the armor (or the layered version) also comes with unique animations: Rush Jet when you perform a drift and a Rush Coil when you do a jumping dismount. Here’s what you need to do to unlock it.
Monster Hunter Rise – How To Get Rush Palamute
“I’ve got a special quest fur-om the Mega Man series for ya! There’s a Zinogre in there that may be small, but I have a bone to pick with. Hunt it, and I’ll give you the materials to forge Mega Man’s trusty companion!”
To get the Rush, you need to take on the “E★6 The Blue Bomber’s Best Bud” Event Quest from Senri the Mailman first. After downloading the Event Quest, now you can go to the Quest Board and pick the quest. Then you will be transported to the Arena to hunt a High-Rank Zinogre, as you can expect from the quest description. Better prepare your items properly since you can’t restock in a camp in the Arena. You will need the special Dog Bolts item rewards as well as several Zinogre materials to craft each of the Rush Palamute armor:
- Rush Costume Head: Zinogre Scrap+ x2, Dog Bolts x4.
- Rush Costume Body: Zinogre Scrap+ x2, Dog Bolts x4.
However, funny enough, you only need to craft the head or torso of the Rush Palamute Costume to get the full Monster Hunter Rise layered armor. Read below for the detail of the Event Quest itself:
“E★6 The Blue Bomber’s Best Bud”
- Time Limit: 50 minutes.
- Money Reward: 10,800z.
- Village Points Reward: 220 Points.
- Locale: Arena.
- Objective: Hunt a Zinogre.
- Special Reward: Dog Bolts.
The first Capcom Collab Event Quest launched on June 18. After facing Great Izuchi and Kulu-Ya-Ku in the Arena, the event quest will reward you with material to craft layered armor that turns your Palico into the Tsukino character from Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. If you have the save data of the game, you can also get a special Talisman and the Rider layered armor set for your Monster Hunter Rise hunter. So far the company has added Monster Hunter Stories 2, Okami, Street Fighter V, and Mega Man quests.
Capcom is planning to pump out up to five Collab Event Quests until the 3.3 version update, which they will reveal at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2021 stream.
