The Mortal Kombat 12 leaks are starting to roll out, and we recently got a huge one courtesy of a NetherRealm producer. However, some say this isn’t quite a “leak” and more of a teaser. Whichever it is, we’re happy that we’re finally hearing more about the game in the Mortal Kombat franchise.
With more potential Mortal Kombat 12 leaks and teasers on the horizon, we’re going to give this one a closer look. One huge factor could bring back one of our favorite games ever. Get ready for a trip back to 2008 when Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe was released.
Mortal Kombat 12 Leaks by NetherRealm Producer
These “reveals” of Mortal Kombat 12 dropped on January 27th by a NetherRealm producer. This is why we don’t consider them to be leaks. Instead, we feel that these are just a glimpse of what we’ll see very soon in the future. The image contains a ton of information, including what could be a potential crossover. DC Universe could be partnering again with NetherRealm Studios.
There are a few things to take away from the above image. For starters, you can see some retro images from the arcade days. More importantly, you can see Wonder Woman and Brainiac (DC Universe) as well. This could be huge, considering NetherRealm Studios is responsible for Injustice & Injustice 2. This means that an MK12 vs. Injustice game would be easy to make.
Mortal Kombat 11 was released in April 2019, so it’s relatively new. A new game wouldn’t release for at least another year, but it could be in the early stages. As of July of 2021, MK11 sold over 12 million copies so that another game would be immensely profitable. There isn’t any other news as of today, but more will definitely be on the way. We’ll keep you updated here with any new Mortal Kombat 12Â or other information about the gam in the franchise.
