The critically acclaimed sequel to the king of medieval battle simulators and butter harvester sim, Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord, has just launched on GOG. With the release on GOG, there’s a lot to look forward to.
A New Platform For Bannerlord
Taleworlds today announced that Bannerlord is launching in GOG Early Access for $49.99 with a sweet discount of 20% until October 17th. If you haven’t gotten the game yet, now might be the time to dip your toes into war-torn Calradia. Furthermore, if you get the game on GOG, you get the original Mount and Blade for free. This offer only lasts one week so be sure to act fast. Along with this, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is available with a 20% off sale on its other platforms that include Steam, Epic Games Store, and the official TaleWorlds website. If the rest of the franchise is more what you’re after, you can take advantage of the rest of the series being up to 75% off for a limited time. Plenty of deals to look forward to with the launch.
Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord first launched in Early Access back in March and since then has become a highly praised game for its immersive open-world sandbox experience and unique mix of action-RPG and strategy. Since then, Bannerlord has received countless bug fixes and updates that massively improved the experience and performance of both it’s multiplayer and singleplayer game modes. Also, the developers have added new features that massively improved and expanded the gameplay. To add on, they even fixed a problem I had with hideouts that I discussed in my early impressions for the game.
The developers have worked hard, and I must say it shows heavily with the excellent condition the game is in during its early access development. I highly recommend checking the game out, you won’t regret it. But if you are still unsure, take a peek at our early impressions of Bannerlord.
