Moving Out, the couch (moving) co-op game published by Team17, has officially released on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Along with this, the game is available through Xbox Game Pass for PC starting today. The game has players working alone or with up to three other movers to, well, move things. That description doesn’t give it much credit, though, as the game offers up a lot of laughs and fast-paced gameplay. If you’re not convinced, they’ve released a launch trailer today so you can see for yourself!
Moving Out features a plethora of levels, all centered around different locations. In some cases, you’ll be moving from classic locations like houses and apartments, but it’ll get a lot crazier. As a Furniture Arrangement and Relocation Technician (don’t abbreviate that), you’ll have to quickly clean up everything and maintain the high standard expected of you. If you’re looking to give it a try before playing the full thing, there’s a demo just for you. You can find it on your platform’s respective store. With a mix of Overcooked‘s frantic party action and a mundane task turned exciting, this is a game you and your friends will want to move into.
Moving Out is available for $24.99 on your platform of choice. From what we can tell, the game looks pretty fun for parties similar to Overcooked. Given that it’s from Team17, that comes as no surprise, though. It’s got a lot of customization and a ton of content, so it’s not lacking there. Overall, it looks like a fun experience and good for some IRL friends. You aren’t even limited there either, as you can play through Steam’s Remote Play Together with your friends. It’s especially useful in these uncertain times, and allows you to social distance and spend time with friends.
