An upcoming Ms. Marvel comic could be making waves for the Marvel Universe. This week, Marvel released the fourth issue of a five-part Ms. Marvel miniseries, Ms. Marvel: Beyond The Limit. From Samira Ahmed and Andres Genolet, the series has focused on the teen superhero facing off against her multiverse doppelganger. However, Bleedingcool reports that the finale for the series will play a bigger role in the character’s future. Both on and off-screen.
A Ms. Marvel Comic Mystery
Bleedingcool is reporting that the fifth issue of the Ms. Marvel comic miniseries is not to be missed. According to some rumors, this final issue will feature a first appearance. While we don’t know who this character is, it is rumored that their appearance will be big. Like, shake up the entire Marvel Universe big.
Plus, with next month’s final issue, the Beyond The Limit series will be collected in June. This puts it right before the premiere of the Disney+ Ms. Marvel show. Rumor has it that this new character will likely appear in the show. Hence why the miniseries is finishing up just in time for the premiere, and if you have seen the debut trailer for the show, you may have seen the impending character…or characters.
We Did? Who Is It?
One moment from the trailer has a lot of people talking. Of course, it is the shot of mysterious figures shrouded in smoke. While they look more like shadows than people in the few seconds they are seen, people are already spreading theories. One of the theories getting a lot of traction is that they are the ClanDestine family.
The ClanDestine family, created by British writer Alan Davis, is a secret family of superheroes. They debuted back in 1994 and have appeared in several Marvel comics since. Most recently, they were seen in Fantastic Four, Daredevil, and Wolverine issues. The family is notable because they don’t necessarily fit the “hero mold.” While they have superpowers, they don’t always seek out wrongs to right. Instead, they just live their lives and happen upon adventures and other heroic circumstances. They would make for an interesting dynamic in the Ms. Marvel comic. Especially to Kamala Khan, a newly powered hero who wants to make the world better.
Of course, nothing is confirmed, and the final issue could just wrap up the story. I guess we will find out on April 27 with the release of Ms. Marvel: Beyond The Limit #5.
