UPDATE:Â As of 3 PM EST today (August 15), Player First Games has officially announced Black Adam and Stripe are coming to MultiVersus!
Original Story: MultiVersus, being a character-based platform fighter and all, naturally has a healthy number of characters existent and coming in the door. From all ranges of cartoons alongside their own, uniquely designed characters, you have plenty to choose from. With Rick and Morty on the way over the course of Season 1 as well, there’s even more fun ready to be had for fans of Bruiser and Mage characters. Though with that being said, some are asking if Black Adam and Stripe, a fairly well-known and otherwise rarely known characters respectively, will be coming to the game. If this is you as well, we’re here to clear things up. In this guide, we’ll answer if Black Adam and Stripe are coming to MultiVersus!
Are Black Adam and Stripe Coming to MultiVersus?
First of all, let’s go over where each character originates from to get a better idea of what they’d bring to the game. Black Adam is drawn from DC comics originally though is also set to feature in an upcoming DCEU film with a title of the same name, starring Dwayne Johnson. The film is set to launch in October of this year, in case you want an even better idea of who he was. As for Stripe, the lesser known of the bunch for us younger folks, he was featured in the 1980s film Gremlins alongside Gremlins 2 in 1990. Being one of the oldest characters to potentially join MultiVersus, he could make a good classic addition to the roster.
As for the main question at hand, the answer is unconfirmed, yet extremely likely. The reason we say extremely is, as you can see for our main image at the top of this article (check at this link if needed), this looks very much like official artwork. Of course, someone could’ve thrown that together and tried to fool everyone so we recommend not taking this as the 100% truth, but it’s incredibly well done if somehow not official.
