MultiVersus already has quite a diverse roster of characters for you to choose from. From the summon-wielding Mages in Bugs Bunny and Tom/Jerry to the powerhouses that are Bruisers and Tanks like Iron Giant and Jake, your playstyle should hopefully be covered with the current roster. That said, there’s always room to add plenty more creative characters to the mix and bring people’s favorite cartoons to the spotlight. That’s exactly what’s happening with the eventual release of Season 1, which will introduce Rick and Morty as separate characters to the game. If you’re looking to play Morty but aren’t sure what he’ll be or what he’ll do, we’re here to help. In this guide, we’ll tell you everything known about Morty Smith so far in MultiVersus!
Everything Known About Morty Smith So Far in MultiVersus
As we’ve already gotten out of the way, Morty Smith is a single character and isn’t a two-part character alongside Rick Sanchez. Instead, he stands on his own as a Bruiser-type character with a unique move set. As far as his move set goes, that’s all we have for concrete information sadly. We don’t have information on particular moves or anything of the sort, however, the developers have mentioned Morty is very much a projectile-based Bruiser. That on its own sounds contradictory since Bruisers are supposed to get in there and peel for their ally, though hopefully, Player First Games has found a way to make that work.
Unfortunately, that’s all we know about the character so far. Once we’re closer to the release of Season 1 (which has unfortunately seen a delay as of yesterday), we’ll likely have a much stronger idea of both his and Rick’s movesets and how you can expect to play them. In the meantime, hopefully, you’re enjoying what the game has to offer at the moment.
