MultiVersus is full of unforgettable characters from a plethora of different franchises. One of the missing fan-favorite MultiVersus characters is Bugs Bunny’s arch nemesis (and best friend), Daffy Duck.
Two other characters from the deep and expansive Looney Tunes universe are already in the game. Both Taz and Bugs are prominent characters in the MultiVersus cast. But the angriest duck in all the lands is nowhere to be found. So fans decided to right the wrong and put Daffy Duck into the game themselves.
A MultiVersus superfan who goes by the name of SonicpoX on Twitter is currently in the process of animating Daffy’s moveset in the game. Rijah Kazuo was the one who initially created the model.

I'd love to hear some of your ideas! pic.twitter.com/719NI0C8dA— Jordan (PoX) (@SonicpoX) July 30, 2022
SonicpoX (Jordan) has already shared some of the animations he has worked on for Daffy. Jordan shared some of the moves that he has made, and they include Daffy’s neutral air, in which he does some of his patented whacky moves. When doing his up air, he understandably pulls out a chainsaw. Finally, when making a downward attack, he stomps on the ground repeatedly in a typical Daffy fashion. He has some of his exaggerated karate moves from the show as well.
How Does Daffy Play in the Game?
SonicpoX has also planned on some of Daffy Duck’s specials that could fit MultiVersus. The specials include him pulling out a jetpack that blows up, and his own special has him pulling out a sign that either says duck season or rabbit season. The moves that are being planned show the same level of detail as some of the characters in the game itself.
Jordan asked Twitter about any ideas regarding how Daffy should play. Thepowerplumber shared their version of how the character could play. The ideas are very solid and include an anger mechanic. The angrier Daffy gets, the stronger he gets. This could translate to a great mechanic in the game.
Here’s to hoping Daffy Duck actually makes it to MultiVersus, and when he does, he has mechanics just as interesting as the ones mentioned above.
