The buzz around Warner Bros MultiVersus is high, so it’s no wonder many people want early access to the upcoming open beta. This 2D fighting game brings up feelings of Super Smash Bros with the added bonus of it being free-to-play. Plus, you get to play around with numerous popular Warner Bros characters. We’ll let you know how you can jump into the open beta early so you can see if MultiVersus is truly worth the wait.
How to Get Early Access to the MultiVersus Open Beta
MultiVersus has plenty going for it as Warner Bros enters the Super Smash Bros-type fighting arena, and the open beta lets more people test it out. Officially, the open beta starts on July 26. But who wants to wait that long? With this game, you can finally see if Superman can stand up against the true Man of Steel: the Iron Giant. Or if Wonder Woman can go toe-to-toe with the outrageous pairing of Tom and Jerry.
Well, you’re in luck. There are a few ways you can gain early access to the open beta for MultiVersus. Note that regardless of which way you get access, it won’t begin until July 19, 9 A.M. PDT.
First, anyone who participated in the Closed Alpha gets access. You’ll get an email that gives you access to the open beta on your chosen platform. If you played on console, your game should automatically update so you can be ready to download it.
Secondly, you can get early access to the MultiVersus open beta via Twitch Drops. If you don’t have a WB Games Account, create one and sign in. From there, head to the Connections option on the menu bar and choose “Connect” for the Twitch option. That will link your Twitch account to your WB Games Account.
With that done, jump on into Twitch and check out any streamer that’s participating in the MultiVersus Twitch Drops. You have to watch them with drops enabled for 60 minutes. Once completed, claim the reward on the WB Account, and you’ll get early access to the open beta.
