Characters from the Warner Bros. world appear in the brawler-style game MultiVersus by Player First Games. The basic objective of the 2-vs-2 combat-based game is to win by either pushing your opponent’s character outside of the border or inflicting more damage in a certain amount of time. For those who are interested, a 1v1 singles option is also available. Let’s look at how to play MultiVersus‘ 1v1 singles mode.
Playing 1v1 Singles in MultiVersus
Launching the 1v1 singles mode in MultiVersus is rather straightforward, and the methods are outlined below:
- Open MultiVersus and watch as the home screen loads. Choose Play after it has finished loading.
- You’ll arrive at a new screen with the options Online, Practice, and Custom after doing this. Simply click Online here.
- Choose Normal from the secondary tab of the screen.
- Finally, uncheck the Teams option and choose 1 VS 1 mode. When you press the confirm button, a singles match will begin.
When playing the game, MultiVersus chooses the Teams option by default. So, be careful to uncheck it. You will receive a match at random in any mode if you choose the 1v1 option and have not chosen the Teams mode.

You will reach the character selection screen after choosing the mode. Characters from a variety of fandoms may be found in the MultiVersus roster, including well-known figures such as Shaggy, Superman, and Arya Stark.
Once you know how, MultiVersus 1v1 is incredibly simple to set up and enables players to battle alone rather than in teams. There’s no denying that MultiVersus as a whole tends to emphasize team fighting, which is why there are support characters, but there’s nothing stopping you from engaging in player-versus-player combat and attempting a whole other sort of meta.
MultiVersus is available as early access open beta for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox systems. The open beta opens for everyone on July 26, and the game has a full release sometime this year.
