MultiVersus has been out for some time, and naturally, players are making the most of the various movesets to take on their opponents. This doesn’t just involve finding the right perk builds for the job or memorizing the best combos, but it also involves having the right characters for your team composition. While grinding for coins will eventually get you where you want to be, the Founder’s Pack can help with that along with a few other things. Is the pack worth it though? Well, in this guide, we answer whether the Founder’s Pack for MultiVersus is worth it.
Is the Founder’s Pack Worth It for MultiVersus?
Before we can answer that, we first must discuss what you get with each of the three packs. Here’s what you’ll net yourself depending on what sort of money you drop:
Standard Edition Founder’s Pack
- 15 Character Tokens (instant character unlock)
- Exclusive Rare Banner
- 300 Gleamium
Deluxe Edition Founder’s Pack
- 20 Character Tokens
- Exclusive Rare Banner
- First Battle Pass
- Epic Banner (non-exclusive)
- Epic Ring Out Effect
- 1000 Gleamium
Premium Edition Founder’s Pack
- 30 Character Tokens
- Exclusive Rare Banner
- Three Premium Battle Passes
- Epic Banner
- Epic Ring Out Effect
- Legendary Banner
- Legendary Ring Out Effect
- Unique Nameplate
- 2500 Gleamium
With that out of the way, which is worth it? Well, we could sit here and say “it depends on the person” and while that’s partially true in the answer, which one you choose will depend on a number of factors. As a major point though we wouldn’t suggest picking up the Standard Edition if you must pick one of these up. The value just isn’t there by comparison, and to get 15 characters isn’t too hard with how many coins you earn already. As far as the other two go, they merely depend on your dedication to the game. If you’re willing to spend the money and consider this a game you’ll be playing a lot, the Deluxe Edition would be the best choice. If you think MultiVersus will be your new main game (especially with ranked) and feel willing to push out the cash, then the Premium Edition is worth it.
