MW2 & Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded is the latest major update to the popular first-person shooter games. The update introduces a range of new content, including weapons, multiplayer maps, game modes, and quality-of-life improvements.
Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone Season 2 Reloaded
One of the most significant additions to MW2 & Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded is the introduction of a new Marksman Rifle, the Tempus Torrent. This weapon will be unlocked through an in-game challenge that has yet to be revealed. In addition to the Tempus Torrent, the Shuriken Lethal Equipment will be added to the game via a mid-season update.
New Multiplayer Map and Modes
Another major addition is a brand-new 6v6 Multiplayer map, the first entirely new 6v6 arena to arrive in MW2 since release day. This mountain resort spa map is a much-appreciated breath of fresh air everywhere. The update includes new game modes such as All or Nothing, Drop Zone, and One in the Chamber.
No changes have been announced for Warzone 2’s DMZ, but players need not worry about their contraband or missions resetting in Season 2 Reloaded. A list of all DMZ Faction Missions for Season 2 and beyond has been compiled to help players earn their free rewards. It is expected that DMZ will see further changes in the upcoming season, and updates will be provided as they are announced.
The update also brings a range of quality-of-life improvements, including Redeploy Drones, allowing players to grapple up to hovering drones before flying off and repositioning via parachute. The update also includes Resurgence Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads, which will be included in every weekly playlist from Season 2 Reloaded to Season 3.
Weapon balancing is another important aspect of MW2 & Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded, with many fans calling for a heavy nerf to the KV Broadside shotgun, dominating both MW2 Multiplayer and Warzone. The update includes a range of weapon buffs and nerfs to overhaul the meta.
The mid-season update for MW2 & Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded is expected to launch on March 15, 2023, and will last approximately eight weeks. Of course, there’s always a chance that the Season 2 Reloaded update will be somewhat delayed, just like at the start of Season 2.
