Details for My Hero Academia The Movie: World Heroes’ Mission have finally been revealed. Earlier this week, the popular series announced details concerning its plot and release date alongside a brand new trailer.
The news concerning the third My Hero Academia was announced to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the show. Creator Kohie Horikoshi will be assisting in the development of the film.

The movie is an original story that takes place during the winter of the My Hero Academia Hero Internship Arc. There is a mysterious group who seeks to eliminate those who possess quirks in the world. In order to save everyone, Pro-Heroes from around the world gather to form a World-Class Hero Team. Deku, Bakugo and Todoroki are in the middle of their internship when they as well as other students of the U.A. Academy Hero Department are called upon to join forces with the Pro-Heroes to confront this threat to the world.
Will they be able to save the future of the world before time runs out and all of mankind is wiped from the face of the Earth.
My Hero Academia The Movie: World Heroes’ Mission has a theatrical release in Japan set for August 26th, but, unfortunately, there is no news of an international release as of this writing. However, the fifth season of the anime has just begun and can be found on Hulu and Funimation.
My Hero Academia The Movie: World Heroes’ Mission is the anime’s third film. The first two, Two Heroes and Heroes Rising, can be bought and rented on Amazon Prime.
