Looks like the My Hero team is going PLUS ULTRA on the marketing side of things. Recently, the official Twitter accounts of My Hero Academia teased fans with a series of tweets and a visual for what seems to be an upcoming project. Three mysterious tweets from the My Hero anime, manga, and movie accounts were posted on November 23. Each tweet showed a part of a sentence and links to the My Hero websites. On the anime, manga, and movie sites, fans were then treated to three separate visual pieces that combined into a larger picture.
My Hero Academia: New Visual
When the three tweets are combined, it reveals the message “HE WILL MEET THE THREE MUSKETEERS”. Meanwhile, the key visual depicts Bakugou, Midoriya and Todoroki donning sleek black costumes with color accents. (Best boy debate, anyone?) Bakugou seems to be wearing a similar costume to what we see him wear in the recent My Hero Academia Season 5 trailer. In terms of Izuku and Todoroki, this is the first time we’ve seen them wear such an outfit. Whatever the reason for the costume change, I think many fans will agree that it looks straight-up awesome.
According to Crunchyroll, “nothing else is known about the new anime project at this stage”. Since a trailer had already been released for the fifth season of My Hero Academia, many fans and anime sites speculate that this visual could be for a third movie. This is despite the My Hero Academia: Hero Rising movie being released just under a year ago. Additionally, the My Hero Academia Ultra Impact mobile game was announced for 2021.

At this point, we will just have to wait and see what the teaser is actually for. Until then, here’s to hoping that the fifth season does not get hindered by the current worldly issues we’re having.
The fifth season of My Hero Academia will be airing in the spring of 2021. What do you think this visual is for? Which artist would you love to see do the opening for the new season? Let me know in the comments below!
