My Time at Sandrock is a game about gathering resources to build structures. As you progress through the story and unlock more to create, the blueprints also become increasingly complicated. Rubber Tubes are one of several building materials you’ll repeatedly encounter throughout the main story and commission requests. This guide provides information on how to get Rubber Tubes in My Time at Sandrock Early Access.
How to Get Rubber Tubes in My Time at Sandrock
- Recycling Rubber Scraps for a high chance of obtaining them
- Use three Rubber in a Grinder
The first method is the easiest if you have been farming for scraps throughout your playthrough. You’ll find Rubber Scraps in rubber scrap piles within Eufaula Salvage and Eufaula Desert. The rubber scrap piles mainly appear as old tires on the ground. Break them with your Pickhammer to obtain one Rubber Scrap. From here, use your newly acquired scrap in your Recycler for a chance to obtain Rubber Tubes.
Alternatively, if you have an overabundance of Rubber, you can use a Grinder to process it into Rubber Tubes. It takes three Rubber to create one Rubber Tube, so be sure to prepare ahead of time if you need several tubes. Rubber Scrap also has a guaranteed chance to drop between one to two Rubber, making it a viable method to farm Rubber if you run low. Additionally, each Rubber Tube takes one hour and fifteen minutes to process on the Grinder. While this is not a long time if you only need a couple of tubes, this time will add up the more you create.
