Following a tweet today by Lumia, EA is yet to announce and reveal the name of its next title joining the gaming industry. This follows a spotting of one of EA’s new entry to Xbox stores on Monday, March 13, 2023.
Currently, EA fans are flooding Twitter with speculations about what the undisclosed title might be. Some users feel the title might be the next major F1 sequel, that is, F1 23.
However, another set of players suggests that following the naming decision of the franchise, the game is unlikely to be an F1 series. Previously, Codemasters are used to relaying F1 releases by publicizing their individual websites and asking fans to await new details.
With the lack of such clues, it is imminent that F1 23 isn’t what will be dropping soon. With the vast list of choices, it is difficult to figure out what the franchise plans to offer to the EA community.
However, in other news, EA Sports struck a partnership with Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen. With this new merger, the duo will collaborate in creating content across its portfolio. Verstappen’s race helmet has an EA Sports branding near its chin as a sign of the partnership.
All in all, fans on social media seem to agree that F1 23 is an unlikely contender for the release. At the same time, none is able to agree on any specific title that might be dropping soon. However, looking at Codemasters’s work, fans are patiently waiting for an official announcement.
