Giving Gifts to characters in the visual novel portion of Neon White is one of the core features of the gameplay experience. While players will spend most of their time parkouring through Heaven and slaying Demons, interacting with White’s acquaintances and improving their relationships can be just as engaging. These relationships are referred to as Social Links, and gifting presents to Heaven’s Angels and White’s Neon companions increases the rating of each Social Link. As a result, players will unlock new dialogue and Memories for every character, providing more insight into their personality and lore. Continue reading to learn more about Gifts in Neon White.

Here is every type of Gift in Neon White, including to whom it should be given:
- Perfume: Neon Red
- Tattletail Toy: Neon Violet
- Six Pack: Yellow
- Cigars: Mikey
- Lucky Cat Statue: Raz
- Strange Coin: Green
Every one of these Gifts is wrapped in a color-correlated box and hidden throughout Mission Levels. The only exception would be Green’s Strange Coins, which are not wrapped and appear as a giant collectible coin. Furthermore, while other characters can be found in locations around Central Heaven, Green’s Strange Coin-related interaction typically take place on the Beach. To find these Gifts in Neon White, players must use their Soul Card’s Discard Abilities to reach hidden areas that are usually off of the main route to the Level’s exit. Accordingly, stage completion time shouldn’t be a concern when hunting for presents.
Simply progressing Social Links is not the only reason why players will want to find and give Gifts in Neon White. Once a Social Link has reached its max level, White will gain access to their Level Rush, a mode where they can speedrun through Levels without stopping. This feature is available for Red, Yellow, and Violet, while Mikey’s Level Rush is not related to Gifts. Finally, maxing character Social Links with Gifts is the key to unlocking the True Ending of the game since writing Green’s name in the Book of Life requires that the protagonist has enough Memories to access the option.
Neon White is available on PC and Nintendo Switch.
