Warner Bros. Japan, Netflix, and Shueisha officially have the final batch trailer for Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean. The final batch, covering episodes 25-38, will release on Netflix on December 1, 2022. What To Expect in the Stone Ocean Final Batch
It will be released an exact year following the first batch in 2021. This will be ahead of the batch’s release in Japan, which is reportedly scheduled for sometime in January 2023. The second batch was released on September 1, 2022.
These include, in the preceding order: Bohemian Rhapsody, Sky High, Under World, Heavy Weather, Gravity of the New Moon, C-Moon, and Made in Heaven. In the trailer itself, fans will be able to catch glimpses of various characters that appear throughout these arcs, including the many illegitimate sons of DIO – Donatello Versus, Rikiel, and Ungalo – a brief look at the stand C-Moon, and a very brief image of the abilities of the stand Made in Heaven.
The names of various stands are also changed to avoid copyright in the localized version. These are Sky High becomes Sky Guy, Under World becomes Netherworld, and C-Moon becomes, See Moon.
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean is the sixth installment of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure franchise by manga author Hirohikoa Araki, and the anime adaptation is the fifth season of the series to air so far. The story takes place ten years following the events of the previous part, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Golden Wind, and follows the daughter of Jotaro Kujo – Jolyne Cujoh – as fights to escape custody in the Green Dolphin Street Prison in Florida for a crime she did not commit.
The first two batches of the anime season are currently available to stream on Netflix.
