“You” Netflix series has surpassed a billion views on the Nielsen U.S. streaming charts. But this is not the only series of interest to TV audiences, as “New Amsterdam” and “The Last of Us” streams also dominate as the first two runner-ups.
“You” Netflix series, which premiered in 2018, is an adaptation of Caroline Kepnes’ book. Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti developed the onscreen version.
Amid creating a thrilling story, not all cast members were ready to take the role. Gamble and Berlanti did some convincing to Penn Badgley.
Eventually, he listened to his wife, Domino Kirke-Badgley, whom he married in 2017. But that didn’t mean he did not raise objections when any.
Last month, Badgley talked about how loyalty to his marriage made him uncomfortable with sex scenes on screen.
Though many have criticized his choice, fans still love him for his perfect delivery of the role in the “You” Netflix series.
Fans must have loved the “You” Netflix series plot that its current streams have dominated the Nielsen Streaming charts.

“You” Netflix Series On Nielsen Streaming Charts
The “You” Netflix series has received accolades from online rating platforms, including IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes, but it is also dominating charts.
“You” on Nielsen Streaming charts is currently the most viewed. The number one series stars Badgley, Victoria Pedretti, and Ambyr Childers.
Five editions of the latest season dropped on February 9, 2022, and soon, it recorded 1.7 billion minutes of viewership.
Nielsen Streaming charts never apportion the different minutes to a season, so it’s possible the timings from previous seasons were included.
According to the streaming portal, seasons one and three of the series had positions in the top 10 English language shows on Netflix.
Other Series Including Peacock Series “New Amsterdam” and HBO’s “The Last Of Us”
Number two on the Nielsen streaming charts was the medical drama “New Amsterdam.” The show has gained 1.5 billion views.
Netflix’s streaming of the series’ third and fourth seasons was available last month. Fans get to binge-watch seeing their favorites, including Jocko Sims and Freema Agyeman.
Next on the line in the charts was HBO‘s series adapted from a game. “The Last of Us,” starring Pedro Pascal, has 1.1 billion streams.
Season one is far from complete, as only five episodes have been released. Before the latest ranking, it was viewed by 1.2 billion fans.
