After the wild success of Mugen Train, fans worldwide have a special place for the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku, and now there is more to love. Announced earlier today, Rengoku will be making an appearance in the new game Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Keppuutan.
The newest character was announced in a teaser trailer and a set of concept art released on social media. As of this writing, there are few details known about the Demon Slayer game, but the teaser trailer below shows Rengoku taking on the Water Hashira, Giyu Tomioka, in an all-out battle.
Shown in other short teaser trailers, Kyojuro Rengoku will be fighting alongside Shinobu Kocho, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Tanjiro Kamado, Giyu Tomioka, Sabito, Inosuke Hashibira and more. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Keppuutan is set to release on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One later this year in Japan. As of this writing, there is no information on an international release.
Luckily, there is plenty to keep fans busy until its release! The first full season of Demon Slayer is now available on Netflix, Hulu, Crunchyroll and Funimation. There are 23 volumes of the manga currently available and and Mugen Train is still playing in theaters.
