Dune GBA Game republish is now available on Steam after the stop of its first release two decades earlier. However, the game will now be in the public domain with a new title, Elland: The Crystal Wars. This comes after a new partnership with developers Soft Brigade and AUK Play and its publishers, namely; Pixel Games UK and Retro Room Games. Even though the game will run without an official license, gamers still have a chance to enjoy the magnificent piece.
Dune GBA First Release
The game was first publicized in 2001 under Dune: Ornithopter Assault as Dune GBA’s sequel. The gamer would take on the role of a highly trained pilot on a mission to battle Ornithopters through shoot-and-kill tactics.
In 2001, Cryo Interactive was the proud publisher of the game developed by Hungarian studio Soft Brigade 2. However, in 2002, the project was shut down by Cryo Interactive due to financial struggles from the publishing company. Interestingly, after 20 years, the game is now available on Steam for downloads with new publishers and an additional developer.

The two games follow a similar gameplay synopsis with some minor changes. The game’s description on Steam exposes several relationships between the two games. In the latter development, you take on the role of Ethan Lancashire as a pro pilot fighter. You will battle in a series of 20 dangerous missions, much like in Dune: Ornithopter Assault.
Evidently, ‘Steam’s about’ of the game indicates that the game is an evolution of Dune: Ornithopter Assault. Nevertheless, Elland: The Crystal Wars differs from the earlier release, including the title’s name, the main character, and the deadly characters you fight.
The game is now available and selling at a discounted introductory price of 10% to all shoot and fly gaming fans. To find the game, head to Steam’s platform and check for the Dune Game Boy Advance games, Elland: The Crystal Wars.
