It’s been a few years since the music scene had a new Fall Out Boy album. Now, there’s a new Fall Out Boy single and music video. The band’s new single is a guitar-driven track entitled Love From The Other Side. For many fans, FOB’s new single will be a return to form as it has hints of the pop-punk’s band beloved sound, but it also sounds like something brand new. Patrick Stump sounds fantastic on vocals, and the song has a chorus that should do really well on the radio.
The music video for Fall Out Boy’s new single follows the band’s usual trend of using metaphor to tell a full story. It opens with a little girl wanting to hear the story of the band. It continues with a tale of what seems to be a battle.
In addition to the new song and music video, FOB announced a brand new album today. Their new album, So Much (for) Stardust, will be out on March 24th. It’s the band’s first new body of work since 2018’s Mania. Neal Avron produced the new album. He also worked on past albums from FOB, such as From Under The Cork Tree in 2008 and Infinity On High in 07.

What Has Fall Out Boy Been Up To Since Mania
Though some may think the guys of Fall Out Boy have been quiet since 2018, they have been pretty busy. Prior to this new Fall Out Boy single and album announcement, the group embarked on a world tour. They did the Hella Mega Tour with Green Day and Weezer. In addition, Fall Out Boy released a greatest hits collection after the Mania album.
Now, FOB is back. We can’t wait to hear the whole album when it drops in March. With Miley Cyrus’ new album dropping earlier in the month, March should be a pretty exciting time for music fans of multiple genres.
